‘THANKS A LOT, JERKS’
The Division’s borked issues have been making headlines, we know, but I don’t think anyone of us expected it to make it onto Fox News in a segment about prepping 18-year-olds for Real Life Problems.
In a discussion about what skills baby adults need, former Dean Julie Lythcott-Haims said on Fox News’s Red Eye that they need to be able to talk to strangers, manage assignments/workload deadlines, contribute to the running of a household, handle interpersonal problems, cope with ups and downs, be able to earn and manage money, and be able to take risks.
And, finally, “be able to gear up your character in The Division”.
Red Eye host Andy Levy added: “despite the way Massive nerfed the crafting system and allows packs of super-geared rogues to gank you in the Dark Zone. Thanks a lot, jerks.”
He then admitted that he “may have added that last one on his own”.
I feel you, Levy — even I’ve given up on the DZ for now. Going Rogue still doesn’t sit easy for me, and being hunted down by hulk-like agents who kill me by merely raising an eyebrow in my direction no longer appeals, funnily enough. How about you?
