Check out everything Destructoid did today
So first everyone was all like, “Look, first Valve-supported Steambox,” the surprisingly pricey $1,000 Piston by Xi3. Then Valve was all like, Eh, this ain’t really our bag, daddy-o, distancing itself from Xi3’s Piston and saying there isn’t currently any open collaboration between the two companies. But then Xi3 CEO Jason Sullivan fired back, stating Valve had asked them to make the Piston and that that directive came, of course, from his Gabe-ness himself, and that while the Piston is not the official Steambox, there may be joint doings in the future. Snap.
Today, Fraser Brown reviewed the excellent Super House of Dead Ninjas, Ron Gilbert left Double Fine (before we find out what’s next for Ron, we’re still waiting on the wonderfully named iOS game Scurvy Scallywags in The Voyage to Discover the Ultimate Sea Shanty: A Musical Match-3 Pirate RPG), Ian Bonds reviewed Naruto Powerful Shippuden, we ran a giveaway for a last minute PAX East pass, and more!
