The best Warframe Trinity rework build

DPS and support rolled into one

Warframe: 1999 is here, but the update didn’t just add new content, it also changed how some older frames in the game worked, like Trinity who got some major buffs to her kit. Plus, you won’t even have to build her as a support character, and you can instead use her for serious damage.

Beyond Trinity, make sure to check out the Nyx rework, how to get the newest frame, and how to build him, but if you’re ready to crush Netracells completely solo, keep reading for our Trinity build.

The top Trinity rework build in Warframe right now

You can read the patch notes to find the specifics on how Trinity’s been reworked, but suffice it to say she’s been buffed. Traditionally, Trinity excelled at supporting her team, but the premise of this build is turning her into a weapons platform that can live forever and take down all her foes.

With an augment mod, her Blessing skill can generate up to a massive 350% critical chance; her Link skill can shred the armor of nearby enemies; and her Energy Vampire skill will let you use as many skills as often as you want. Subsuming Roar also pairs nicely with the added critical chance.

Also, keep in mind that Trinity’s Energy Vampire and Blessing skills still support your team, providing them with energy and restoring shields/health, so this build isn’t selfish by any means. Roar, too, will boost everyone’s damage, making this build an easy favorite of any party.

Arcanes: Molt Augmented and Arcane Avenger

Aura: Combat Discipline

Exilus: Power Drift

Mods:

  • Primed Redirection
  • Primed Continuity
  • Primed Flow
  • Archon Intensify
  • Blind Rage
  • Abating Link
  • Champion’s Blessing
  • Vampire Leech

Of course, if you don’t have Primed mods, normal variants will work, just not as well. Vampire Leech and Primed Redirection can also be swapped out if you prefer to play a health tank version of Trinity, but considering how often you’ll use Energy Vampire, Vampire Leech works quite well.

Combat Discipline can be swapped out if you don’t use Archon Intensify, but it’s a clever pairing of mods that guarantees you a small portion of health damage that can be healed away, giving you extra ability strength. Though, there are other ways to build strength, such as using Umbral Intensify.

Best Archon Shards for Trinity

Trinity doesn’t live and die by Archon Shards, so feel free to run this build without any, but if you’ve got them to spare, they can certainly make a difference. As always, Tauforged Shards are best; although, normal Shards will work just fine, especially when trying to avoid a certain breakpoint.

More ability strength means more Link targets, so you can’t go wrong with Crimson Shards, but depending on how quickly you take down enemies, you may not need many more Link targets to be active at once. So, this build primarily uses Shards to make playing Trinity more comfortable.

  • 2 Amber Archon Shards: + Parkour Velocity
  • 1 Amber Archon Shard: + Casting Speed
  • 2 Crimson Archon Shards: + Ability Strength

Parkour velocity makes an otherwise slower frame nice and nimble while casting speed makes using abilities like Roar very responsive. Lastly, as mentioned above, ability strength makes Roar deal more damage and Link more effective, so you can’t go wrong with Crimson Shards.

How to play reworked Trinity in Warframe

The most important thing to do with Trinity is keep her Blessing skill active, as the Champion’s Blessing mod will increase your critical chance each time you heal. The Champion’s Blessing effect has a longer duration than Blessing, however, so it’s okay if Blessing lapses for a few seconds.

Otherwise, simply use Energy Vampire as needed for energy, as well as pop Link whenever you’re in combat and need to strip nearby foes of their defenses. Blessing and Link also provide a pretty significant portion of Trinity’s defenses by way of damage reduction and redirection.

We subsume Roar over Trinity’s first ability, Well of Life, in this build, and you can use Roar as you feel it’s necessary. It’s fine to keep it active 24/7 or to merely use it when a particularly chunky enemy appears. Naturally, Roar’s damage buff will also apply to nearby teammates.

To that end, Energy Vampire will also provide energy to teammates, and Blessing will restore the health/shields of nearby teammates. Altogether, this build can buff a squad’s damage, provide squadmates with energy, and keep everyone alive, maintaining Trinity’s support role.
