Resident Evil Requiem is an exceptionally well-made nostalgia romp that elevates everything that makes the series special, showcasing the pinnacle of both survival horror and action horror in a package that has a little bit of everything, but does it all great.

Pros

• Excellent execution of both of Resident Evil's dueling identities
• Grace segments are top-notch, unsettling survival horror while Leon's are fun and action-packed
• Stellar graphics, sound design, and soundtrack all make for incredible atmosphere
• Top of the line voice acting and performance capture
• Some of the most enjoyable fan-service moments in the series

Cons

• Back-and-forth character swapping may mess with the pacing for some
• Some head-scratching narrative decisions towards the end
• Not as many puzzles as I expected
