Surprising MW2 AR is actually one of Warzone’s best SMGs

Surprising, but effective.

If you’re looking to dominate opponents at close range in Warzone, then you’d be forgiven for immediately opting for your favorite SMG. However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed an MW2 assault rifle that can give them all a run for their money.

For a long time, Modern Warfare 2 guns have just been so weak that it’s not worth even considering them when putting together a loadout. In fact, it’s gotten so bad that players don’t want to see MW2 or MW3 weapons when Black Ops 6 releases.

This might change your mind though, as WhosImmortal has revealed that with the right class, the M13C can be just as effective in close-quarters combat as the meta SMGs, even though WZRanked shows it ranked 87th in terms of pick rate.

In his video about the current weapons dominating the close-range meta, WhosImmortal said: “The M13C is surprisingly good as well. This thing’s close-range TTK is very, very competitive.” This is good news for players, but you’ll still need the right class to make the most of it according to the YouTuber.

As for how he would use it, he stated that it is a “slept-on” sniper support option, which is the gun you switch to when your sniper rifle isn’t the correct weapon for closer gunfights.

WhosImmortal’s M13C close-range class

  • Muzzle: Scratch 20-L Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip
  • Optic: MK.3 Reflector
  • Ammunition: Blackout High Grain
  • Magazine: 45-round mag

With a pick rate of just 0.02%, you could truly get a jump on the rest of the community by picking this weapon up early, and WhosImmortal is convinced it can hang with the best SMGs, so it’s definitely worth trying at least.
