Street Fighter movie cast, none seem like fighters

We already knew that the lovely Kristen Kreuk would be playing Chun-li in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. She’s a looker, but she’s lacking the massive, head-crushing thunder thighs that the in-game Chunny flaunts. I’d call her casting a “miss,” and it looks like some other potential misses have been announced.

Videogamer tells us that Capcom has confirmed the cast for its 2009 feature. New announcements include Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog, Neal McDonough as M. Bison, and Chris Klein as Charlie Nash. Oh, and Taboo of Black Eyed Peas as Vega. What the hell?

I get Duncan as Balrog… for his looks. But he seems like too nice of a guy for a convincing badass. I didn’t know who McDonough was, but it looks like he’d make a better Anderson Cooper than a M. Bison. Klein as Nash? Fair enough. But Taboo as Vega? Not so much. Finally, Andrzej Bartkowiak (Doom, Cradle 2 the Grave, Romeo Must Die) will direct.

My biggest problem with this cast? None of them seem like the fighting type. What do you think?
