How to get Kudos

You can gain Kudos across all of Street Fighter 6,Ā and it doesn’t matter if you win or lose most of the time. In a Ranked Match, you still get 30 Kudos (participation points) for the time spent. The Arcade mode depends on your performance. Using a continue, for example, nets you fewer Kudos for your efforts.

Whenever you gain a title, UI should appear on the left side, showing a notification. You can check how far you are from the next title in the “Rewards” menu after pausing the game. For example, I was able to get 35 Kudos for finishing the Arcade Mode, despite using a few Continues during the run. These are the kudos you approximately get from each mode:

  • Arcade – 35-50 per run, dependent on performance
  • Versus – 5 per match
  • Combo Trials – 5 per completed trial
  • Extreme Battle – 5 per match
  • Ranked Match – 30 per match (win or lose)
  • Casual Match – 30 per match (win or lose)
  • Character Guides – 10 per Character Guide
  • Training – 1 per combo performed
  • World Tour – 1-10 per win while using each character’s battling style and depending on the opponent’s level; these are given after battles with anyone in the open world and story.
  • Custom Room – 10 per match (win or loss)

A few other ways to get Kudos are by completing the Daily and Weekly Challenges. They’re fairly easy to finish. For the week of June 9, the challenge was to land three assisted combos (or target combos) three times. You’ll get 100 Kudos for doing this. The Daily Challenge for 200 Kudos on June 9 was to win the Battle Hub matches from a cabinet. The latter will be hard to do for those without an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription. However, Steam users thankfully don’t need to pay for a subscription to play online games.

Street Fighter 6Ā Kudos can unlock exclusive titles for each character. These titles can be attached to any fighter and will show on your player tag. To change the title on your profile, press pause and then select “Profile.” Then go to your Battle Settings; look at the bottom left for the button prompt. Switch the tabs over to the “Character” screen. Now, go to “Update Character Settings.” Change the tab to “Title Settings.” It’s difficult to get to, but you can alter your titles here.

Some of these titles can be earned quite quickly. Others will require many hours of your time. For example, if you collect 133,850 Kudos with Luke, you’ll get the golden Natural Born Fighter title, which is the last you unlock for Luke. However, if you want to say that you’re “Taking on All Challengers,” you’ll get that for just 3,360 Kudos. Some of the best titles are “Anyway, Here’s a Hadoken” with Ryu, “Never Fear, Jamie’s Here” from Jamie, “Not Now. I’m Gaming” through Luke, “Go Ninja Go” with Kimberly, and “I Throw You, I Win” from Zangief. There are lots of other great titles, too, so there’s a very good chance you’ll find the one that best represents you.
