The turn-based SteamWorld Heist is currently in development by way of Image & Form, and it looks a lot different compared to SteamWorld Dig. The developer wanted to give us something “completely unexpected,” and I think they’ve accomplished that so far. According to a recent announcement they’re trying another unique idea called the “SteamWorld Ambassador Program.”

If you sign up for the program you’ll have a chance to play it before release, as well as earn a final code. Blog posts are coming up in the future that will “challenge” users to gain access, and the first one is up now on their blog. Later this year you’ll find the game on 3DS, PC, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, and Wii U — so basically everything.
