PlayStation Steam Network
Video game fans who like to rock both PlayStation and PC platforms now have the option of creating some sort of Marriage Made in Hell, as SIE has announced that players are now able to link their PSN and Steam accounts together ā The latest step in PlayStation Studios grand push to the PC platform.
Once said action has been performed, then this will open the door for the possibility of joint actions of PlayStation Studios’ upcoming gamut of PC releases. For example, players with linked accounts will receive additional skill points and two “early unlock bonuses” in Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man, namely the “Resilient Suit” and the “Concussive Blast” weapon. Future titles ported to the PC platform could see similar bonuses, or cross-progression, or any manner of additional features.
Those wishing to link their PSN and Steam accounts should head on over to the sign-up page on the official PlayStation website, and you’ll be good to go in just a few clicks. While this may eventually prove to be a fairly unrewarding endeavor, It is understandable that Sony would be looking to bring the Steam audience further into its own community, given the studio’s ongoing desire to release a slew of major PlayStation titles onto the PC platform, including titles from the Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, and Uncharted franchises.
Link your Steam and PlayStation Network accounts today to get early unlocks and Skill Points in #SpiderManPC!
