Starfield update 1.7.33 patch notes

The new Starfield update brings performance and stability enhancements.

As more players begin their adventure in the stars, Bethesda has released the patch notes for their new 1.7.33 update to Starfield. The update is now live for players who are playing Starfield on the Microsoft Store, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S. The primary focus of the update appears to be performance and stability enhancements, as well as some general gameplay issues. According to Bethesda, they are still working on a large update that will add new features and improvements. Here are the full patch notes for update 1.7.33 of Starfield:

GENERAL

  • Characters: Fixed an issue that could cause some characters to not be in their proper location.
  • Star Stations: Fixed an issue where Star Stations would be labeled as a player-owned ship.
  • Vendors: Addressed an issue that allowed for a vendorā€™s full inventory to be accessible.

GRAPHICS

  • AMD (PC): Resolved an issue that caused star lens flares not to appear correctly AMD GPUs.
  • Graphics: Addressed an upscaling issue that could cause textures to become blurry.
  • Graphics: Resolved an issue that could cause photosensitivity issues when scrolling through the inventory menu.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY

  • Hand Scanner: Addressed an issue where the Hand Scanner caused hitching.
  • Various stability and performance improvements to address crashing and freezes.

SHIPS

  • Displays: Fixed an issue that would cause displayed items to disappear when applied to in-ship mannequins.
  • Displays: Fixed an issue that would cause items stored in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks to disappear after commandeering another ship.

Update 1.7.33 was released on all platforms on September 25. In order to access the update, simply completely exit out of Starfield and relaunch it on PC or Xbox Series X|S. The launcher should automatically detect the update and download it immediately. Now get out there and explore the stars!
