How to get new suits in Spider-Man 2 (PS5)

Miles and Peter’s default suits are pretty cool, but you’ll want to upgrade them pretty soon. To unlock new suits, you need to level up. Leveling up is a matter of collecting XP, which is done by completing main missions, side activities, stopping crime, and performing stunts when web-swinging. As you reach certain levels, new suits will unlock. You’ve made progress, but you can’t grab the new suits just yet.

To add a new suit to your wardrobe, you’ll need to spend City Tokens and Tech Parts. Some of the nicer suits will also require Hero Tokens and Rare Tech Parts. You can acquire City Tokens by completing activities such as collecting Marko’s memories and completing side stories. Hero Tokens are acquired by completing side stories.

Similarly, Tech Parts are acquired by completing side stories and hunter blinds. You’ll earn Rare Tech Parts by completing EMF experiments and collecting Prowler stashes.

The suits have variations known as styles, giving you a bit more freedom when it comes to how you want to look when fighting crime. Once you own a suit, you can unlock the different styles with Tech Parts and City Tokens.

To make your suit more powerful, you’ll need to unlock suit tech. This can be used to give you various advantages, such as boosting your health, increasing your damage, and giving you more traversal options.
