Spider-Man 2: How to complete A Gift – Brooklyn Pride trophy guide

The students of Brooklyn Visions need some Spidey help.

Hunting down all the trophies in Insomniac’s latest web-slinging adventure is a fun challenge. And a few ā€” like the ‘Brooklyn Pride’ trophy given by completing ‘A Gift’ ā€” award you a suit to swing around in style while playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

The Brooklyn Visions questline and the suit itself are both important for Miles. A Gift is the final mission in a series in which Miles helps out his fellow Brooklyn Visions Academy students. And the suit he earns at the end has deep ties to his Hispanic roots. Experience points and resources notwithstanding, the quest for the Brooklyn Pride trophy helps you understand the kind of person Miles Morales is.

Brooklyn Visions is your first step to completing A Gift in Spider-Man 2

Be sure to switch to Miles, as he’s the only one who can complete the Brooklyn Visions missions. They should become available soon after the academy is introduced. Look on the mini-map for the large yellow and blue ‘V’ logo. The first mission is ‘BV Club Fair’, in which Miles must save a kidnapped teacher.

Here are the quests to complete:

  • BV Club Fair
    • Miles heads to the club fair but learns that a beloved teacher has been kidnapped. He uses his tech to track her down. The kidnappers can be taken out via stealth, but it’s made more stressful due to an informal college interview that comes at the wrong time.
  • Senior Prank
    • Lance, the mascot costume of Brooklyn Visions, is stolen by the rival school, Midtown. Follow the clues and complete the mirror puzzles to bring the fuzzy feline back home.
  • Homecoming
    • No, not the movie. Help Vijay successfully ask his boyfriend out to prom. This acts as a tutorial mission for the electrified web mechanic. It’s also super cute.
  • Lights, Camera, Action
    • Arguably the most difficult BV mission, but it’s not so bad. As Spider-Man, take images of the campus from high-up angles to help AV students create a recruitment video for the school. Some have reported difficulty finding the right angle for a certain club, but we can help you out.

Where to find the Esports Team in Lights, Camera, Action

In the aforementioned mission, you need to find and snap a shot of the Esports Team somewhere gaming it up at Brooklyn Visions. The camera icon is easy to spot on the mini-map. But what about the angle? Climb onto the corner of the building nearest the football field. Look toward the location of the camera and zoom in on the corner window:

That’s where the Esports Team is hanging out. You can even attach yourself to the window for a closer look. I think they’re playing some kind of MOBA.

Complete A Gift for the Boricua / Puerto Rico suit in Spider-Man 2

The Gift unlocks after completing every Brooklyn Visions mission in Spider-Man 2. All you need to do is follow the quest marker to a roof at the school.

The students Miles helped left a lovely thank-you gift on the table: The Boricua Suit, designed after the flag of Puerto Rico. After you finish A Gift in Spider-Man 2, you earn the Brooklyn Pride trophy along with 15 City Tokens, 160 Tech Parts, and 1,200 XP. And these sweet threads:
