Sony drastically cuts the price of PlayStation VR by $100 starting this week

VR, despite its numerous advancements when it comes to the tech this generation, was always going to be a hard sell. We have firms charging $500+ and requiring gaming PCs, and even in the case of Sony, the “competitive” $400 was a bit much for some.

Since their debuts every major VR manufacturer has cut their price, and Sony is following suit. On March 29 the publisher will drop the PlayStation VR headset from $400 to $300, and will provide two new bundles (listed below) as a result.

Believe it or not the PlayStation VR hardware is coming up on its second birthday in October.
