It what is becoming something of an annual tradition, Sega is holding a short sale on video games featuring their famous mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. The sale – which is currently only live in North America – is being held to celebrate Sonic’s 28th birthday (28th!) and sees reductions on numerous games from the blue blur’s legacy.

The Xbox Marketplace has discounts on the excellent Sonic Mania and its Encore DLC, as well as price cuts on Sonic Forces and the awesome kart racer Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed. The PlayStation Store has classic ’90s releases such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic CD and Sonic The Fighters for just a few bucks each, with discounts on later releases such as Sonic the Hedgehog Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Generations, Sonic Unleashed and All Stars Racing Transformed.

The Nintendo eShop features WiiU releases Sonic Boom and Sonic and The Lost World, alongside 3DS titles such as Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal and Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice. For Switch, both the Sonic Sega Ages collection and Sonic Forces are also discounted.

Even the mascot’s most recent release Team Sonic Racing is included in the deal on PS4 and Switch. So if you needed to plug any holes in your collection. Now’s the time. The Sonic Anniversary Sale will run until June 24, we will keep you updated if the sale moves into territories outside of the U.S of A.
