So uh, there’s still an official Pokemon ‘Eevee Dance’

Do the Eevee, shake your body, turn it out, if you can, man!

With a song that would feel right at home in an anime intro, the Eevee Dance is taking the world by storm. A lot of it involves dancing in place and putting up cat hands, but it’s undeniably more adorable when a person in a giant Eevee suit is doing it.

If you’re confused as to why this is happening: don’t be. Japan normally doesn’t need an excuse to randomly sing and dance, but this whole thing is part of “Project Eevee,” which is charged with making the world a cuter place and asks that others submit their own dances. Nintendo actually kicked off the initiative last year but is still steadily giving us videos.

At least this performance was scripted and everything went well: remember when that Pikachu costume deflated mid-performance?
