Snake Pass has a new Arcade Mode and Switch icon

Sumo Digital’s slithering platform game Snake Pass has a little surprise in store for players today.

Along with a new high-score-chasing Arcade Mode that spans all 15 main levels, there’s also a long-awaited icon refresh for the Nintendo Switch version. People weren’t too fond of the old one.

Arcade Mode is unlocked on a per-level basis, so if you’ve beaten every level in Snake Pass, you’ll be able to play them all in Arcade. The goal is to eat fruit, build up your multiplier, and make it through the gate as quickly as possible. Should you want to start some rivalries, there are online leaderboards, too.

Also, Snake Pass is half price right now if you never got around to it.
