It’s like a black hole but portable and with a cooler name
Hello Games has announced the next free continuation of No Manās Sky, and itās called Singularity. It should be dropping for all platforms sometime today.
This is a pretty small one, I suppose. Compared to the InterceptorĀ update, I mean. You can now play as a robot, which is pretty cool, and this is heavily featured in the trailer. Iād rather play as a fox. Like, a fox-person. Some sort of fox that travels the stars. A star fox, if you will.
The main feature of this update is that it continues the story started in the previous Interceptor update. Allegedly, this is part two of four in the narrative.

Furthermore, thereās the usual tweaks and cosmetic updates in Singularity. However, they’re nothing that really makes me want to jump back into its universe.
For that matter, I picked up No Manās Sky again after the Interceptor update and bounced off it yet again. I think the biggest reason for this is a bit of a personal one. Its universe just feels too artificial. These planets are just kind of floating there in a way thatās not natural. Itās hard to explain, but it just kind of ruins the fun of exploration for me.
I do appreciate that itās getting constant support, even if, at this point, I have to concede that itās just not for me.
That doesnāt mean itās not for you, and you can find No Manās Sky on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
