Shovel Knight not arriving in March, delayed for a ‘few weeks’

Shovel Knight was set for a March 31st release date for 3DS, PC, and Wii U, but the key word here is “was” — developer Yacht Club Games has announced a delay on their Kickstarter page. According to the update, Shovel Knight will be delayed “for a few weeks,” to make sure that the game is a “world class experience.” Apparently this is just to make sure everything is polished, and the game is pretty much done.

My guess is it’ll launch somewhere around April 13th, which marks the one year anniversary of the Kickstarter itself. A number of us here at Destructoid are highly anticipating Shovel Knight, so stay tuned for impressions on every single platform we can get our hands on.
