Serious Sam HD has seriously gone gold

Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter has gone gold, and is now up for pre-purchase over on Steam. Doing so will allow you to keep a few extra dollars in hand as you wait for the game to unlock on November 24.

Now it’s obvious Serious Sam HD is a mighty step up in the visuals department, but I didn’t truly appreciate the work that’s been done until Devolver Digital linked to this super old Serious Sam announcement video created by Croteam. Talk about a trip.

I still say those screaming bomb-headed guys were ridiculously silly even from the very moment the original release of Serious Sam took place so many years ago.
