You can’t keep a good console down, unless it’s the Dreamcast of course. The United Kingdom is getting to relive the glory days with a brand new Sega Mega Drive. Well, a “Blaze” Mega Drive, to be more precise. The console has been given a sleek redesign and comes with 15 games including Sonic the Hedgehog and *sigh* Altered Beast, already built into the machine.

The great news, however, is that the console also plays all your old cartridges, provided they haven’t been flogged off at car boot sales yet. It’s also multiregion, meaning that the cartridges you bought from car boot sales will now work. Hurrah!

The console will retail for around £39.99 and launches on April 24.
