Peace to everybody.
A black dolphin lives in every one of us. The dolphin represents our soul as a comic creature, and Seadelphica explores how closely our souls and high technology are connected. It also looks like a mindf*ck. Seriously — you have to watch this video.
Seadelphica is a runner and a “spiritual development simulator” that helps you find your spiritual love by scanning your Tumblr stream to “reprogram the universe,” with the ultimate goal of becoming the black dolphin. Its creator is looking for like-minded friends that will also be financial supports via Kickstarter.
The whole Kickstarter is a trip, from its video message to the game’s story, and from its animated GIFs that sparkle to its crazy screenshots. Here’s a quote:
Lil It, an immortal alien creature with a fish-like body, mitochondrial mother of humankind, was elected to be the only and sole sovereign of Panoptika. She consolidated almost absolute power over the new world in her hands. She managed to embed a virus into the “Oversense” and put it on the verge of destructions. The Black dolphin’s mission is to save the consciousness web, to which he’s connected by a cosmic Wi-Fi.
I love how they plan to integrate a player’s Tumblr feed, as well as the like and re-blog features. Tumblr content will be translated into in-game “soul screens” that convey people’s souls.
Seadelphica is shooting for $50,000 before March 20, with planned releases for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
