Cue ’80s ‘getting ready’ montage
The upcoming Saints Row reboot might star a posse of Hot Topic-supporting wankers, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all have a little fun dressing them all up in some suitably silly Saints Row style.
Despite the incoming reboot’s questionable Fashionista direction, Volition’s return to Saints Row will see the franchise’s penchant for customization back and ready to rock. In fact, publisher Deep Silver has announced that it will be holding a live stream presentation on April 20 specifically focused on the new title’s Customization Suite, which will allow for an array of crazy, sexy, cool clothing and outrageous accessories. The stream will be viewable via Saints Row’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

“Within the showcase itself, longtime fans and newcomers alike will be delighted to see a brand new trailer fully focused on customization across all aspects of player choice in the game, that will get gamers excited about all the incredible ways you can Be Your Own Boss in Saints Row,” remarked Deep Silver. “It will truly show off the breadth and depth of the customization features Volition have packed into the title.”
In addition to the Customization Suite, the stream, (hosted by Saints Row actor Mica Burton), will also include a brand new trailer, developer interviews, and fresh new footage. Saints Row, originally scheduled to launch in the spring of 2022, was pushed back to the summer, perhaps wisely dodging the incendiary launch period that brought us Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Sifu, The King of Fighters XV, and more.
Saints Row will launch August 23 on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.
