The first images for Saints Row 3 have shown up. The main promo pic reveals Johnny Gat with his trademark shades, an assault rifle, and a champagne bottle, while a young lady boards a plane with her own gun and, presumably, a bag of ill-gotten loot.
The second image is less visually stimulating, but a bit more revealing, as it declares we can “strap it on” this coming Holiday season — a bit more definite than THQ’s previous “Fall” release window. Looks like the publisher is aiming to grab a slice of the Christmas action with this sequel.
The original pic looks like it will be a Game Informer cover, which wouldn’t be surprising as Game Informer does everything in the world. The rest of us will feed on the scraps and love it.
In any case, I can’t wait to find out more. Saints Row 2 is one of my favorite games of this generation, and I’m hoping Saints Row 3 will eclipse it.
