Star Wars Battlefront III is going to Pandemic, the studio that developed the first two Battlefront games. According to a VG247 source person, the deal will be announced soon. Pandemic’s ownership runs contrary to other rumors that the game is in the hands of Rebellion, a capable PlayStation Portable developer that handed the port of Battlefront II.
Next week, Battlefront III will be placed on a magical golden ship. Then it will be whisked away to an unknown Antarctic developer.
Since the leaked alpha footage yesterday, it has become hard not to get excited about Battlefront III‘s possibilities. Any game with playable Ewoks and a user-controlled Millennium Falcon gets me excited. If Pandemic is going to develop the game, then we definitely have something to look forward to, namely playable Ewoks and user-controlled Millennium Falcons.
