Room-flipping puzzler Shift returns on 3DS this week

Whoa, this one brings me back. Remember Shift? The monochrome puzzle title started out as a web game eight years ago before proving popular enough to warrant a full series and ports to other platforms. Now it’s back and heading to 3DS with Shift DX by way of publisher Choice Provisions.

Shift DX has every level from the first two games, 100 new levels, a level editor with QR code sharing, a new Shift Challenge mode, and also some unlockable characters like Bit.Trip‘s Commander Video.

The game’s out real soon — Thursday, January 12 in North America and Europe — and will cost $5.
