Unlike Standard Mode, Roblox’s Terminal Escape Room Beginner Mode has only two chapters. Take a left at the main hub to begin Chapters 1 and 2 solo or with other players. We’ll begin with the answers to Chapter 1 and then work our way to the following phase.

At the start of Chapter 1, you’ll need to enter a keycode to unlock a doorway. If you flip the chairs, you can match the symbols to the keypad numbers. 8425 will be the correct combination, opening the first doorway.

Enter the next room and pick up the quarter on the table toward the right. You’ll need another one to purchase something from the nearby vending machine. Enter the correct PIN code on the ATM to get the following coin. To solve this, look at the meals on the table and match their prices with the menus on the right. The PIN code should come out to 3572.

Grab the quarter from the ATM and go to the vending machine. Enter ‘2C’ to obtain a keycard. Use it on the locked door to access the Sleeping Car (ensure the keycard is equipped).

When you interact with the keypad in the third cabin, a fuse will fall out, forcing the electricity to go out. Use your flashlight and navigate through the other rooms to find the fuse. It spawns in random locations in Cabin 1 and Cabin 2. I found mine under one of the seats in the first cabin, but it may differ in your playthrough.

Place the fuse back in its box, where you must reset it. The correct order for the switches will match the circle combination above.

Set the switches to following positions in this order:

  • Down
  • Down
  • Up
  • Down
  • Up
  • Up
  • Down
  • Up
  • Down
  • Down

As long as you’ve matched the circles to this combination, the fusebox should look like this:

The electricity will turn back on, but you’ll still need to open the doorway. The number combination ties into the Sleeping Car checklist above the locked entryway. It involves a series of questions regarding the nearby beds. Answer all of them, and it should be translated into the code 9536.

Cabin 4 solution

Stopping the train requires a four-digit code that involves the other cabins. While the first picture points us to Cabin 1 with a number on the red alarm, the second can be found on the checkered floor of Cabin 2. The third number matches one of the diagrams on the left in the final room, with one of the last digits posted on the computer nearby. Altogether, you get the combination 5867.

Enter the combination and pull the lever to stop the train. You’ll then earn a badge for completing Chapter 1 of Roblox’s Terminal Escape Room Beginner mode.

Chapter 2 takes you out of the train and into a tunnel. The time limit has now increased to 90 minutes, given that this area offers more challenges than last time. We’ll break down all the answers to Terminal Escape Room Beginner Mode Chapter 2:

Use the flashlight and walk forward to pick up a screwdriver on the floor. Then, twist off the screws on the train. Once open, you’ll see various colored wires. Grab the scissors on the left and cut all the wires to complete the next step.

With the wires cut, you’ll need to reattach them in the correct order. Use the numbered colors in the back of the train as a hint. For example, Brown is linked to the number one, which means you must attach this wire first. For the correct outcome, select the wires in the following order:

  1. Brown
  2. Pink
  3. Yellow
  4. Orange
  5. Red
  6. Blue
  7. Purple
  8. Black
  9. White
  10. Green

The lights behind you should then turn on. Approach the keypad on the door to take note of the ‘Code’ post-its. Each letter corresponds to a number on the nearby artwork. Using this hint, we can determine that the keypad answer is 1379.

Keypads in Puzzle 2

The following Terminal Escape Room Chapter 2 puzzle requires four combinations using the keypads on the ground. For a quick and easy solution, enter the following codes in order:

  1. 6914
  2. 3284
  3. 2689
  4. 7831

If you want to understand how we got these combinations, we’ll explain each code location. With the first keypad, players must find four pipes around the room. The green pipe will be on the bookshelf, while the blue one can be picked up from the ground.

The yellow pipe will be on a coffee pot, and the red item will be on the computer desk.

Interact with the pipes on the wall to unlock the 6914 combination. Afterward, connect the hints from the post-its to the paintings on the wall for the following puzzle. In particular, Digit 1 mentions a piece of artwork “with a shell,” indicating that it is associated with the number three turtle painting. As a result, the combination will be 3284, which you can enter in the painting keypad on the ground.

The last two combinations are relatively easy to spot, as they will be on the plants and ceiling. For the third keypad, note down the numbers on the plants and place them in an ascending order, coming out to 2689. Lastly, the ceiling numbers (from top to bottom) showcase the combination, 7831. A hatch will open just above the four keypads, allowing you to leave the room.

The third puzzle is straightforward, only mandating that you hit four buttons within the area. Its maze-like layout may get you a bit lost, but fortunately, the location is relatively compact. After hitting all four buttons, go to the next room from the new opening.

Puzzle 4’s door code can be uncovered after you turn on the TV. Four screens will be marked with fruit names, and the number of letters corresponds to the correct keycode. For instance, ‘Apple’ has five letters, so you’ll input five for the first digit. To unlock the remote, enter the code 5496. Now, you can use the TV to produce the door code, which is 7216.

Locate all the drawings around the room to determine the solution for the shapes keypad. Using this information, you can enter the code 4931.

A string of letters will appear, corresponding to the four pieces of paper within the room. The letters will come out to the number 8246 in written form.
