One of the best Japanese developers of first-person dungeon crawlers is Experience Inc. For the past few years, it’s been blessing players with that classic style of RPG with titles like Ray Gigant, Demon Gaze, and Operation Abyss. To me, its best game is still Stranger of Sword City, and in 2021, that classic is coming to Switch as part of a dungeon crawling two-pack.

NIS America has announced it is localizing Experience Inc’s Saviors of Sapphire Wings for Nintendo Switch and PC. If you buy that game, you’ll also get Stranger of Sword City Revisited, which includes new content not found in any previous version.

It would be nice if that trailer had a bit more actual gameplay footage, but I’m absolutely down for another Wizardy-style romp on my Nintendo Switch. Saviors of Sapphire Wings/Stranger of Sword City Revisited will launch for Switch and PC in 2021.
