Video reviews have returned, huzzah!

A little over a month ago I stumbled my way through the front door of Destructoid, knocking things over as I went, writing about video game news, with an original goal to write various tips and guides on current games. But then instead I ended up on the front page of /r/gaming because of skateboards.

Now I’ve found the keys to the recording studio and locked myself inside it, creating videos for Destructoid’s own YouTube channel! All of course while having that constant feeling of trying to fill shoes twice my own size in the wake of current people on the channel like Lyle McDouchebag, those extremely talented folks over at Gameumentary, and even past personalities that originally brought me to this website such as Max Scoville and Tara Long.

But truth be told, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is a roller coaster I intend to ride until it is completely derailed. So with that said, here’s the first Destructoid video review in over a year for Destiny 2 from yours truly and written by our own Chris Carter!

For now, in terms of video reviews, we’ll be focusing mostly on the larger AAA games with a touch of Japanese games for good measure. Simply because the video team currently is a skeleton crew. No seriously, they’re sentient skeleton creatures, it’s a bit of a problem here at the Destructoid HQ. Why else would I have locked myself inside the recording studio?

Please send help.

Alright
Slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy them a bit, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled.
