Resident Evil 7 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title

That’s a darn good get

If you buy a digital copy of Resident Evil 7 for Xbox One, you’ll also get the horror game for Windows 10 PC at no extra cost, and vice-versa. Surprisingly, this is the latest “Xbox Play Anywhere” title.

The cross-buy offer extends to existing Resident Evil 7 pre-orders, and should you decide to go this route (again, Microsoft’s Play Anywhere initiative means the Windows Store, not Steam!), your save progress, Achievements, and DLC will carry over between the two versions of the game.

Pretty nice bonus, especially if you were already on board with RE7 for Xbox One.
