Here we have a little preview of Guitar Hero World Tour’s new drums. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, The Police drummer Stewart Copeland and former drummer of Blink-182, Travis Barker, all give the new drums a test drive. We don’t actually see the drums being used with the game, just the rock stars beating on the drums and telling us their impressions of it.

Not much is really detailed that we don’t already know. The drums are pressure-sensitive and wireless, and the cymbal pads look like they can be easily broken.

With the recent revelation of the possible price point for World Tour, I’m not so sure about the game anymore. The only thing that World Tour has going for it that really separates it from the competition is the music creation mode. Activision really needs to show off how the music creation for the game is going to work, as I believe that is going to be the biggest selling point for Guitar Hero World Tour. What do you think?
