Portable Yakuza action? Yes, please!

Before this, wondering around Japan’s seedy cities and kicking ass was limited to PS2 and PS3 owners, but now Famitsu reveals a new project that will bring Yakuza’s world to your PSP.

This “Project K” is set in present day Japan, and you’ll play as a new character (and not Kazuma) in a hoodie who is 18-years-old. He looks like a bad ass. The game will be fully voiced and will be presented in graphic novel style instead of movies.

As for the game play, it sounds like we’ll get the same old fighting system. I’m honestly kind of tired of it, but we all know the Yakuza games are more about the exploration and story anyway.

So far, no release date for “Project K” is given.
