Maximum Games has announced that it will publish a physical release of nWay’s tag-fighter Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. A “Collector’s Edition” will launch on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 8, priced at around $30.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Collector’s Edition will feature the base title updated with its single-player story mode and balance tweaks. This edition also comes bundled with Power Rangers Super Samurai character Lauren Shiba. It should be made clear that this is not a “GOTY” style edition and – while it does feature a 16-strong roster – it does not contain all DLC characters released to date.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid has slowly built upon is somewhat lackluster launch to become a relatively meaty and well-supported fighting game. The recent Version 2.3 update changed the meta entirely, adding a new “Revenge Gauge”-style meter and overhauling the Megazord mechanic. Battle for the Grid also supports crossplay across all platforms.

Still no playable Rita Repulsa though… Still.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Stadia.
