Pokemon GO: What is Dynamax Band?

Max Pokemon with max rewards

Pokemon GO just rolled out its new Dynamax feature that makes Pokemon way, way bigger, and adds an ominous red glow and cloudy backdrop to their surroundings. You can find these Dynamax Pokémon at Power Spots and take them on in Max Battles.

The Dynamax Band is a cosmetic item in Pokemon GO that trainers can wear on their wrist. The cosmetic is just for show, so you don’t need it to participate in Max Battles. And the best part? It’s free. Getting one is pretty simple—just complete four tasks from the third part of the ‘To The Max!’ challenge.

How to get Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO

To get the Dynamax Band in Pokemon GO, you need to complete these four tasks from the ‘To The Max!’ challenge:

  • Task 1: Win a Max Battle to earn 100 Max Particles.
  • Task 2: Unlock a Max Move, and you’ll get 10 Ultra Balls.
  • Task 3: Win three Max Battles to score two Pinap Berries.
  • Task 4: Catch a Max Pokémon, and you’ll be rewarded with 2,500 Stardust.

Once you’ve wrapped up all these tasks, you’ll get the Dynamax Band, along with 4,000 Stardust and 8,000 XP in Pokemon GO.
