How to get Pokémon Go Twitch Drops

To claim Twitch Drops for Pokémon Go, connect your Twitch to your Trainer Club account. You can easily do this on the Pokémon Rewards page, which only takes a few minutes to set up.

After you’ve connected the two accounts, you’ll need to tune in to a special event. The Pokémon Go Twitter/X page typically notifies users when an event is active. At the time of writing, a Twitch Drops event will kick off for the 2024 Pokémon North America International Championship.

During this time, trainers can watch the Pokémon Go broadcast from June 7 to June 9. Anyone who watches 30 minutes of the stream will be rewarded with an exclusive Time Research. This will allow you to catch MEWeedle’s Altaria, the Europe International Championship winner.

For specific times, you can expect the following events for the Pokémon Go stream (all times are set to PT):

  • Bracket Play: June 7 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Bracket Play until Top 3: June 8 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Finals: June 9 at 6 a.m.

Besides the Altaria, players can earn more rewards from this broadcast, including TMs and Stardust. However, it may require additional stream time beyond the 30-minute range.

Trainers can claim the Twitch Drops via the Rewards page. You should see a ‘View Inventory’ section showcasing your current Drop Inventory. Other streams can also be accessed here, from Pokémon TCG to Pokémon Unite.
