During this event, Pokemon GO players will get to take advantage of a number of event bonuses and catch a variety of featured Pokemon. Here are all the event bonuses active during Pokemon GO Scorching Steps:

  • Twice the amount of candy from hatching eggs
  • Half distance required to hatch eggs that are placed into incubators during the event
  • The first three eggs will only require one-fourth distance to hatch when using the Pokemon GO egg hatching widget
  • There will be an increased chance to encounter hatch Shiny Slugma and Shiny Litleo

As the event bonuses suggest, the Pokemon GO Scorching Steps revolves around egg hatching, and will reward players for hatching eggs during this event. Larvesta can be hatched from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km eggs during this event. All other featured Pokemon can be hatched, depending on the egg and the distance required to hatch it. Here are all the Pokemon you can hatch through eggs during the event:

2 km eggs

  • Growlithe
  • Slugma
  • Houndour
  • Magby
  • Larvesta

5 km eggs

  • Hisuian Growlithe
  • Darumaka
  • Litwick
  • Larvesta
  • Litleo
  • 10 km eggs

  • Turtonator
  • Charcadet

There are also event-themed field research tasks coming with this event, which will allow players to catch Slugma and Litleo by completing the tasks, and some players might be lucky enough to encounter Turtonator in the task rewards as well.
