This event unleashes the elite Ultra Beasts creatures from a parallel dimension, making them some of the rarest to catch. These unique Pokémon cannot be found in the wild or through egg hatching, adding to their exclusivity and the thrill of the hunt. To ensure you’re ready for these battles, here’s what you need to know about the Inbound from Ultra Space event in Pokémon Go.

Pokémon Go Inbound from Ultra Space event guide

The Inbound from Ultra Space Raid events are set to run from July 8 at 10 a.m. to July 13, 2024, 10 a.m. local time. Be ready for the latest lineup of 5-Star Raids, including a Raid Hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

For those who are up for the challenge, successful battles will grant you the opportunity to obtain the Ultra Beast. As a testament to your achievement, you can earn Special Backgrounds for these creatures, marking the specific area where you caught them. Plus, they are just plain nice to look at, thanks to their vibrant colorful design.

Most 5-Star Raids may include Shiny variants; however, Stakataka and Blacephalon are the only ones who don’t have them yet. Due to their low spawn rates, you’ll likely need to participate in several battles to unlock any Shinies.

Timed Research encounters and global challenge

Multiple Ultra Beasts will be a part of the event’s Raid-themed Timed Research. This includes the following Pokémon:

  • Nihilego
  • Buzzwole
  • Pheromosa
  • Xurikitree
  • Celesteela
  • Kartana
  • Guzzlord
  • Stakataka
  • Blacephalon

If you want access to the event-exclusive Timed Research, purchase a $5 ticket in-game from July 8 at 10 a.m. to July 14 at 6 p.m. Completing these tasks will also earn you rewards, such as Stardust, Ultra Beast Candy XL, and a Star Piece. However, you must claim them before July 4 at 8 p.m., as they will expire.

Aside from the individual challenges, a Global Challenge awaits all players. This is a chance to unite with fellow trainers and work together to complete this adventure. In return for your collective efforts, each player will receive a Beast Ball when encountering an Ultra Beast during the Pokémon Go Fest 2024.

Inbound from Ultra Space event bonuses

While the Pokémon Go Inbound from Ultra Space event is active, look forward to these event bonuses on the corresponding dates:

  • Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20 [July 8 – July 11]
  • No limit on Remote Raids [July 12 – July 14]
  • Receive Candy XL for trading Pokémon [July 8 at 10 a.m. to July 14 at 11:59 p.m.]

Note that the Candy XL bonus can only be given to trainers with a Level 31 or above rank. You can use XP boosts like the handy Lucky Egg if you still need to reach this level.
