You can fight against Dynamax Falinks in a three-star Max Battle in any Powerspot. But there’s a catch: you have to spend 400 Max Particles to get into a Max Battle. However, you don’t have to worry about the resources, as they are utilized once you have defeated the Dynamax Falinks.

But the availability of the Dynamax Falinks is restricted to 6 A.M. to 9 P.M. UTC, so you won’t encounter it every time in the Power Spots. Not only that, if you are lucky, you can even grab a shiny version of Dynamax Falinks. However, the odds are pretty dim, but it’s worth a shot.

But remember, you must have a Dynamax Pokémon to enter in a Max Battle against Dynamax Falinks. And just so you know, you will have a better chance to defeat it if you are using a Psychic, Fairy or Flying-type Pokémon since Falinks is the latter. However, don’t use Rock, Bug, or Dark-type ‘mon, as Falinks resist them. Once you defeat the Dynamax Falinks, you will get 7,500 XP.

Also, you can also get Dynamax Falinks from other players through trade. But if your friend has the basic version of this Pokémon, then it won’t cut it, as the normal Falinks cannot be evolved to Dynamax Falinks.
