What team is the best for Pokémon Go Jungle Cup?

The best team to use for Pokémon Go Jungle Cup are Abomasnow, Clodsire, and Vigoroth. The three Pokémon have proven valuable with the tournament’s lineup and have even made their way up the meta. Vigoroth is one of the most used members of the Jungle Cup, where some players have deemed it too OP for the league. However, this works in our favor to blast through the entire competition quickly.

Whenever Vigoroth isn’t completely decimating the opponent, Abomasnow and Clodsire can come in clutch to wipe out the rest. A Shadow Abomasnow works well with the cup, but the regular version is still suitable. Clodsire’s Mud Shot and Earthquake moves also tremendously help with the battle, thanks to the weakness of certain creatures.

However, depending on the enemy’s choice, things can still go south even with this team. Like most Go Battle Leagues, opposing Pokémon won’t always be the same, so here are some alternative choices for the best Pokémon Go Jungle Cup team:

  • Altaria
  • Steelix (Shadow if possible)
  • Quagsire
  • Swampert
  • Skarmory
  • Mandibuzz
  • Stunfisk
  • Mantine
  • Pelipper

The Steelix is considered to be the best in the meta, but of course, that could change based on the enemy’s lineup. Other than this Pokémon, Flying-types prove useful, like Altaria and Pelipper. So, if you’re considering something new, you may want to equip one of these creatures instead.

Keep in mind that Gligar and Galarian Stunfisk are the only two Pokémon you cannot use for the tournament. The regular Stunfisk can still be used if necessary. For starters, try out our recommended best team for the Pokémon Go Jungle Cup since they are the most neutral ensemble for this competition. You can switch things around with the alternate members to see which works best.
