As a manager, you’ll be able to develop the footballers in a specialized fashion, which can make them better suited to your preferred tactics and roles. After many years, scouting is set to receive a significant change. Not only will you have more nations to scout for talents, but there will be a more direct approach to influence their growth.

FC IQ will have a major say in EA FC 25 Career Mode

One of FC IQ‘s key aspects is the introduction of specialized roles for footballers. While managing your club, you can set your training goals accordingly to aid the growth of your players in a specified direction. The player will grow attributes that suit the specified role, and they could end up gating a role rating level up as well.

This could be a lot of fun if appropriately implemented. No longer will you be able to bring in talent and expect top performances if they don’t fit a role. Similarly, transfer strategies will have to be made accordingly, and a player with better stats might not be the best buy for your club.

EA FC 25’s Career Mode will have more expansive scouting

You will no longer be limited to scouting a handful of regions to discover elite talents. With over 160 countries to visit, your scouts will have their tasks cut out. Recruiting the best youth talent is part of the process, and you’ll have the Rush mode to aid their growth in Career Mode.

Your scouts will be able to select talent based on up to four different positions and three roles. Hence, your youth recruitment could be tuned to meet the demands of your tactical setup. Instead of going through boring drills, you will be able to participate in 5v5 matches with your youth candidates to grow their attributes.

For the first time in EA FC 25, you’ll witness your youth players having visual changes to their appearances as they develop with age.

For many years, youth recruitment in the FC series has felt handicapped and backdated. This could finally be the year when Career Mode enthusiasts find the deserved levels of satisfaction. There are plenty of other changes, like Starting Points and Simulation mode, but having the ability to manage development better could be the key to a better Career Mode experience.
