Peggle 2 will allegedly hit the Xbox One on December 9th

But Popcap still hasn’t announced anything

When the Xbox One launch lineup was announced, one title stuck out the most — Peggle 2. I was a huge fan of the original and the pseudo-expansion Peggle Nights, so I couldn’t wait to see what PopCap had in store next. Sadly, it was delayed until after launch to a “TBA 2013” placeholder.

But according to VentureBeat, Peggle 2 is on track for a December 9th Xbox One release date — the only thing is, that’s less than a week away, and PopCap still hasn’t announced anything. Considering this is a first-hand source I assume PopCap is waiting for the right time to make an explosive surprise announcement, but it appears as if the cat is out of the bag.
