While playing Palworld, you’ve likely come across colorful Eggs. These Eggs, when placed into an Incubator, can hatch into a wide variety of Pals and at times, it’s difficult to predict what you’ll end up with.
Worry not! Over the last two weeks, I’ve been recording every egg that I’ve found and hatched, as well as those that have been hatched by friends and family who also play, to produce a comprehensive (although likely not exhaustive) list of all the possible hatches from the many different types of wild Eggs.
There are, in total, nine different types of eggs that you can find while exploring:
Egg | Type of Pals |
Common | Neutral |
Damp | Water |
Rocky | Ground |
Dark | Dark |
Verdant | Grass |
Electric | Electric |
Scorching | Fire |
Frozen | Ice |
Dragon | Dragon |
Most of these eggs have normal, large and huge varieties, but there are some exceptions to this as you’ll see further on.
While eggs tend to be found in their respective biomes, for instance Scorching Eggs are usually found around Mount Obsidian and Frozen Eggs are usually found around Astral Mountain, you can sometimes find them outside of these areas.
When this happens, the possible hatches seem to be limited to Pals which usually reside in the region where the egg was found. One notable example of this is Kitsun, who can be found in a Large Scorching Egg found in the Frostbound Mountains.
Eggs always spawn in the same locations on the map, but what spawns there may be different every time. With that in mind, it’s worth checking back to places where you’ve found eggs previously for the chance to get something different.
If you’re not wanting to waste a lot of time waiting for eggs to incubate, you can instantly hatch eggs using this simple trick.
I’m only going to be talking about wild eggs found around Palpagos in this article and not going into those produced at the Breeding Farm.
Common Eggs
From information that I’ve managed to gather from various sources, I can only guarantee the existence of normal and large sized Common Eggs. They’re usually found around the forest biome, though sometimes appear in other biomes. Common Eggs have pink and white horizontal stripes.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Common Egg | Eikthyrdeer Melpaca Nitewing Direhowl |
Large Common Egg | Grintale Gorirat Lunaris Lovander |
Damp Eggs
Damp eggs are dark blue with a light blue wavy decoration and come in all three sizes. They hatch a variety of Water Pals and can often be found around lakes and rivers, especially in the forest biome and near the beaches of the Plateau of Beginnings. The most commonly hatched Pal from Damp Eggs, from my research, is Pengullet.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Damp Egg | Celaray Kelpsea Pengullet Surfent |
Large Damp Egg | Penking |
Huge Damp Egg | Suzaku Aqua |
Rocky Eggs
Mostly located within and close to the Desiccated Desert, Rocky Eggs are brown with black pentagonal markings. They come in all three sizes and contain Ground type Pals. Out of these, the most commonly hatched Pal is Fuddler.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Rocky Egg | Dumud Fuddler Hangyu |
Large Rocky Egg | Digtoise Surfent Terra |
Huge Rocky Egg | Warsect |
Dark Eggs
These eggs seem to be found all over, though predominantly focused in the forest biome and found mostly at night. There seems to be only two sizes of Dark Eggs and they’re mostly purple with a pink circular pattern. The most common hatches I’ve got from Dark Eggs have been Cawgnito and Mau.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Dark Egg | Cawgnito Daedream Loupmoon Mau |
Large Dark Egg | Katress Maraith Nox Tombat |
Verdant Eggs
If you’re hoping to hatch Grass type Pals, green zig-zag patterned Verdant Eggs are what you want. They come in all three sizes and can mostly be found in the forest biome, especially within forests themselves and along the cliff edges. Grass Eggs offer the largest variation of Pals which can possibly be produced, however I’ve found that Lifmunk is the most common result.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Verdant Egg | Beegarde Bristla Caprity Cinnamoth Flopie Gumoss Lifmunk Tanzee |
Large Verdant Egg | Dinossom Mossanda Robinquill |
Huge Verdant Egg | Elizabee |
Electric Eggs
Electric Eggs are yellow with black lightning bolt markings on them and look like miniature versions of Grizzbolt. They come in only two sizes that I’ve managed to find and appear mostly in Desiccated Desert and other desert biomes, seeming to prefer the heat. Of all the Pals which can possibly hatch from Electric Eggs, I’ve found Sparkit to be the most common.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Electric Egg | Dazzi Sparkit Jolthog |
Large Electric Egg | Rayhound Dinossom Lux Univolt |
Scorching Eggs
Like Verdant Eggs, a lot of Pals can potentially come from Scorching Eggs. These eggs are found mostly around the lava pools of Mount Obsidian and are red with yellow flame markings on the top and bottom. From the regular sized Scorching Egg, the most likely hatch seems to be Leezpunk Ignis while from Large Scorched Eggs, you’re most likely to get a Pyrin.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Scorching Egg | Arsox Flambelle Foxparks Kelpsea Ignis Leezpunk Ignis Rooby Vanwyrm |
Large Scorching Egg | Bushi Pyrin Ragnahawk Reptyro Wixen Kitsun Pyrin Noct |
Huge Scorching Egg | Blazehowl Noct Suzaku |
Frozen Eggs
Hoping to get some Ice type Pals for your Paldeck? These are the eggs you want to look for. Light blue and patterned with white snowflakes, Frozen Eggs are found in cold areas like the Astral Mountains to the North.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Frozen Egg | Chillet Mau Cryst Reindrix Swee |
Large Frozen Egg | Foxcicle Sibelyx Reptyro Cryst Sweepa Vanwyrm Cryst Wumpo |
Huge Frozen Egg | Cryolinx Kingpaca Cryst Mammorest Cryst |
Dragon Eggs
Of all the eggs that can be found in the while, Dragon Eggs are the rarest and only come in one size — Huge.
Covered in black and dark purple zig-zag stripes, Huge Dragon Eggs tend to spawn at high altitudes, favoring extreme climates. As such, they can usually be found around both Mount Obsidian and the Astral Mountains. They’re easy to spot from a long distance away because they absolutely live up to their name.
Egg size | Possible hatches |
Huge Dragon Egg | Jormuntide Ignis Relaxaurus |
