Palworld: Katress Ignis is the latest new Paldeck reveal

She's probably got quite a fiery temper

With only a few short days to go before Palworld releases the Sakurajima update on June 26, fans have been given a sneak peek of yet another new Pal that’s coming to the game. This time, we’ve been introduced to Katress’ fiery cousin, Katress Ignis.

According to the Palworld Twitter post sharing this Paldeck, Katress Ignis is said to “wield both the light of fire and the shadow of the arcane”, so this Pal may be a dual Fire and Dark type.

In the Paldeck video, Katress and Katress Ignis are shown working side by side in what appears to be a glass structure, although no more information is provided about that. Apparently they’re brewing up something rather hefty, though, as they’re both knocked out by the fumes. Perhaps their glass encasement needs some ventilation.

We also get to see some shots of Katress Ignis in action, with her fire-type skills put to the test against Croajiro, another new Pal who was showcased last weekend. She seems to have the same Fire attacks that we’ve become used to, although there are some telegraphed attacks which seem unfamiliar.

Considering the fact that Katress and Wixen have a long-standing feud, according to their Paldeck entries within Palworld, I’m hoping for some spicy history between Katress Ignis and Wixen Noct. At least both Pals now have corresponding variants, whatever the case.

At the end of today’s Paldeck video, we were given a sneak peek of what to expect tomorrow, with the teased mushroom Pal finally getting a name – Shroomer.
