Every Pal has unique levels for their various skills, including mining, making some better for the task than others. Here are the best mining Pals that Palworld has to offer.
Best early game Mining Pals
When it comes to the early game, the first mining Pal you’re going to want to get your hands on is Tombat. The flying dark type Pal may not seem like anything special for mining, but if you look at its work attributes you will see why. For an easily obtainable early game Pal, Tombat actually has Level 2 Mining, making him more productive at it than most other early game Pals. As a bonus, Tombat also has Level 2 Transporting, making him a good candidate for transporting your mined goods to a proper storage chest in its downtime.
Another good early-game option here is Penking. You can see on the map below where Penking is so you can easily head there and catch the Pal. Penking is an early boss that you can fight who is only Level 15, making it very easy to fight and capture. Penking also has Level 2 Mining and Transporting, as well as Level 2 Handiwork, Watering, and Cooling. As you can see this makes Penking a quality option for mining as well, though you can’t get a lot of them as easily as Tombat.
Best Mining Pals in all of Palworld
The absolute best mining Pal in all of Palworld is Digtoise. As the name suggests, Digtoise likes to dig, especially with a pickaxe. His only work suitability skill is Mining, which comes in at a whopping Level 3, the only Pal with a mining skill this high. Digtoise is literally made for mining, so you’ll want to get your hands on this Pal as soon as possible.
You can find Digoise in the northeast corner of the map of Palapagos Islands, located on the bigger island located to the northeast. They are pretty plentiful in the area. Just look for an orange turtle-like creature with spikes on his shell. Catch a few Digtoise as you’ll want to have plenty of mining going on!
