Palworld: All town and settlement locations

Visit the locals.

If you’re looking for quick access to merchants in Palworld, there’s no better place than one of its several towns. These villages typically contain merchants who sell items like materials, Pals, and schematics. Naturally, knowing the locations of all the towns and settlements in Palworld is a boon.

There are only three town or settlement locations in all of Palworld, all with their own fast-travel points. And each one is found in a biome more challenging than the next. But they’re great places to visit for all your wheeling and dealing, so let’s take a look at the map and break down each location.

Where to find all town and settlement locations in Palworld

I wouldn’t be surprised if the fact that Palworld has towns to visit is a shock to you. They are but a mere handful, separated by large swaths of land. The nearest village to the game’s starting point is nestled between rock walls and a river. I found it by complete accident. But fear not, we have all locations on the map below:

Palworld Town 1: Small Settlement

The Small Settlement, located at point 1 in the map above, is the closest town to your starting point in Palworld. You’ll need to climb some rocks or follow the path through the Windswept Hills in order to find it early in your game.

Here are the town details:

  • Suggested level: 5+
  • Pal Merchant
  • Wandering Merchant (Red)
  • 1x Dungeon

Palworld Town 2: Fisherman’s Point

The next town is Fisherman’s Point, south of Mount Obsidian, the biome at the southwest part of the map. Fisherman’s Point, located on a beach, is a tad larger than the Small Settlement. As far as I can tell, it contains only one more merchant along with extra goodies to grab. It is in the shadow of Mount Obsidian, which makes it a dangerous place to visit ā€” though the next town is even worse.

Here’s what you can find at Fisherman’s Point:

  • Suggested level: 20+
  • Wandering Merchant (Green)
  • Wandering Merchant (Red)
  • Pal Merchant
  • 1x Lifmunk Effigy
  • 1x Journal Entry

Palworld Town 3: Duneshelter

You’ll find the final settlement, Duneshelter, near the center of the desert biome at the top-right of the Palworld map. It’s not a place to seek out unless you’re prepared. The biome features some of the highest-level Pals, and the heat will damage you unless you wear the correct outfit.

Here’s what you can find at Duneshelter:

  • Suggested level: 30+ (wear hot-weather gear)
  • Wandering Merchant (Red)
  • Wandering Merchant (Green)
  • Pal Merchant
  • 1x Lifmunk Effigy
  • 1x Yellow chest

The Effigy and the chest are both on top of the tallest building, so you’ll likely need a flying mount in order to get them. As mentioned, Duneshelter is located in a hostile biome, so take care before visiting.

Why visit all the towns in Palworld?

You’ll find Merchants in each town, but that doesn’t mean they all have the same stock. Static Merchants found in the settlements carry different schematics, crafting materials, seeds, and more. If you’re looking for anything in particular, we have a list of what the Merchants in Palworld can supply. Be sure to give it a read before you try something silly like marching headfirst into Duneshelter with your bare ass in the sun. You won’t be in for a good time.
