Palworld: All Pals that increase carry capacity

They help shoulder the burden.

There are a few Pals who are worth having on your team for more than their strong attacks or abilities, especially early on in the game, because they allow you to carry more without having to pile stat points into your maximum carry capacity.

Not only can you add these Pals to your team; but you can also perfect a team with the carrying capacity increasing Active Skill. These Skills, unlike some others, are able to be stacked, meaning you can add a maximum of 600 to your carry capacity by filling your Party with five of a certain Pal.

Pals who increase carrying capacity

Cattiva

Increase amount: 50

Cattiva are all over the Plateau of Beginnings where you begin the game, so one of the best strategies early on is to capture as many of them as you can and add them to your team

Having five Cattiva on your team isn’t an ideal strategy long term, but with an extra 250 carrying capacity early into the game, you’ll minimize how many trips you need to make back and forth to your base, allowing you to travel further.

Lunaris

Increase amount: 80

You can find a level 32 Alpha Lunaris just North-West of the Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach fast travel point. If you’re going to attempt this fight, take lots of Dark type Pals with you, as Lunaris is weak to them.

Lunaris is also a very easy Pal to breed. It has a lot of potential parent Pal duos, but the easiest to manage early into the game is Mau and Tombat. Tombat is a nocturnal Pal that spawns around the Ancient Ritual Site in the middle of the Forest biome, while Mau can commonly be found in level 13 Dungeons.

Broncherry & Broncherry Aqua

Increase amount: 100

You must unlock and craft the appropriate saddle for Broncherry or Broncherry Aqua before you will receive any carry capacity increases.

Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua both have an Alpha variant. The Grass type level 23 Alpha Broncherry can be found very close to the West of Alpha Lunari, while the Water type Alpha Broncherry Aqua can be found to the East of the Ascetic Falls fast travel point.

You can also find a lot of Broncherry in the wild. They spawn in the Western half of the Bamboo Groves and are below level 20, for the most part. Broncherry also drop Tomato Seeds, if you’re getting ready to set up a farm on your base.

Kingpaca & Kingpaca Cryst

As with Broncherry or Broncherry Aqua, to receive a carry capacity increased from Kingpaca or its Ice type variant, you will need to craft the correct saddle.

Both Kingpaca and its Ice type variant, previously called Ice Kingpaca, offer an increase of 100 to your maximum carrying capacity and there are a few ways to get your hands on them. You can find a level 23 Alpha Kingpaca just North-West of the Small Settlement fast travel point and a level 46 Alpha Kingpaca Cryst inside the Forgotten Mineshaft in the Astral Mountains.

If you want a non-Alpha Kingpaca, you could also head to Wildlife Sanctuary 2 on the Western edge of the map, but these are around level 40 so you’ll need to be at a similar level in order to battle and capture them.

Wumpo & Wumpo Botan

Increase Amount: 120

Finally, Wumpo and its Grass type variant, Wumpo Botan, offer a huge increase of 120 each while in your Party. This makes them the best Pals to have with you if you want to carry a lot of heavy resources, such as Ore or Coal. They also drop Beautiful Flowers when killed or captured.

Again, you will not receive any carry capacity increase from having a Wumpo or Wumpo Botan in your party unless you have crafted their Saddle. This can end up being a huge resource sink, especially if you’re looking to have multiple increases via your party.

In the wild, you can find a level 38 Alpha Wumpo Botan on the Northern tip of Eastern Wild Island, directly West of the fast travel point of the same name. Ice type Wumpo, on the other hand, can be found in the wild roaming around the Astral Mountains. These tend to be around level 35, so you’ll need to level up in order to go and capture some.
