While Freja is the headline of the midseason update, there’s more waiting for you in the form of the LE SSERAFIM collab, which has its exclusive set of cosmetic items. To test out the new hero and cosmetics, you’ll also get new game modes, and there’s something special waiting for veterans of the game.

Overwatch 2 Season 15 Freja overview

Freja will be the latest addition to the list of available DPS characters, and she will be an excellent choice for those who love to do precise damage. Her signature is the Revdraw Crossbow, which fires explosive bolts. Her Take Aim ability will do precise offence with damage spikes, while Quick Dash and Updraft provide the mobility required to survive.

Freja can also fire a bola, which will lock enemies in a place, and it’s a significant debuff that can turn the tide of a battle. You can try her this weekend; she will be available from March 21 to March 24.

All Overwatch 2 Season 15 midseason update game modes

Starting on March 18, you’ll again enjoy one of Overwatch‘s iconic formats as the 6v6 Open Queue is back. This mode will temporarily replace the 5v5 Open Queue, so make sure to bring your A-game to dominate the battlefield.

There’s more in the form of Overwatch Classic: GOATS, where you’ll have to play in teams of three tanks and three supports. The mode will be all about chaining combos and landing them at the perfect time to do insane amounts of damage, which was almost an evergreen meta back in the Overwatch era. The feature to play without a single DPS in your team (or that of your opponents) will force everyone to think out of the box.

April 1 to April 14 will feature the Normalwatch event, and all heroes will have googly eyes, bizarre kit changes, mechanics, and more. This mode will be all about fun and action; you can grind your way to exclusive rewards like the Rainy Duck Orisa skin.

Those who love a competition will get the Competitive Drives available from April 15 to April 21. The objective is to win as many matches as possible, lock in your progress with the help of checkpoints, and claim the Season 15 Signature. You can also team up to earn bonus scores, and there’s an exclusive Prestige upgrade to unlock once you have conquered all the drives.
