You should definitely play this while camping in the woods
Outlast saw a semi-surprise release earlier today on Nintendo Switch. While we knew ports of the first-person horror titles were in production, it wasn’t clear when exactly they’d arrive. Today’s the day for the first game, it turns out — and Outlast 2 is now set for Switch on March 27, 2018.
For $25, Outlast: Bundle of Terror comes with core game and its Whistleblower DLC.

You’re probably wondering how it performs on Switch. I’m right there with you. According to Red Barrels, Outlast runs at 720p and 30 frames per second in handheld mode. While docked, the game hits 1008p and 30 frames per second. “Nope, not a typo,” the studio confirmed. “It’s ~1008p.”
The footage looks plenty good to me. And by that I of course mean “Everyone in Mount Massive Asylum is gross as hell and I don’t want them anywhere near me. I’m hiding under a bed. Please send help.”
