Remember the 3DS/Wii U era? It was a weird time, right? Tons of original games were being released left and right, and although the 3DS was helping Nintendo stay relevant, the Wii U sadly never caught on. Throughout that time the company tried all sorts of experiments, including selling three Pikmin shorts in a bundle for $4.99 on both of the aforementioned platforms. While those eShops went kaput a while back, Nintendo didn’t just pull a tax writeoff and chuck them into the ether: no, they put them up on YouTube for free. In anticipation of Pikmin 4, you can watch them now!

If you’re curious, one of the reasons these shorts caught on worldwide is the Mr. Bean/Shaun the Sheep effect. They contain no spoken words, so anyone can enjoy them. They also tie into the first two games nicely, without requiring any prior knowledge of the series to “get.” In other words, they’re perfectly crafted forĀ Pikmin newcomers and veterans alike. Based on stats from multiple Nintendo-based YouTube channels, “Occupational Hazards” is far and away the most popular one if you want to start there.

You can catch all three of them below: no 3DS/Wii U required!
