The Portable, Golden, Royal trifecta
A long overdue fan-favorite RPG series will finally be accessible to Xbox players, and Phil Spencer showed up on stage at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase to share the good news. That’s right, the Persona series is on the way to Xbox, including Game Pass support, and Persona 3 Portable and Persona 5 Royal will be arriving on PC at long last. What a get!
Here’s the full rundown: Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal will be playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with P5R confirmed for October 21, 2022, and P3P and P4G coming sometime in 2023, according to an Xbox release calendar.
[Update: Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are also coming to PS5, and Atlus has confirmed Steam releases, per Eurogamer. The timing is up in the air.]
This hype trailer should conjure a lot of fond memories with old friends, and Atlus also has a dedicated hub site for these Persona games showing up on “modern platforms.”
How many hours of JRPGing are we going to need to set aside? On that note, once the Persona games show up in the Game Pass library, I hope they stick around for a long time. No one wants to have to rush through them, and no one wants to be left hanging.
@destructoid Really wish we could have had a P3 Definitive Edition #fyp #fypć· #foru #xyzbca #gamingtiktok #persona #persona3 #atlus #persona3fes
