Noby Noby Boy creator Keita Takahashi has posted on the PlayStation Blog, revealing a new update is coming to his game. I’m hoping they plan to patch out the pure, rampant Satanism contained within that evil file, but I’m doubtful. We do know that some sort of “offline co-op” is coming, which Takahashi promises will “still be fun.”

The update will be released “In the hopes that more people can enjoy the game.” Takahashi says that, as depressed as it can make him, he has listened to all the criticism regarding his quirky PSN game and that he had come to expect it.

“I totally understand as this is such a unique game and I expected those reactions,” he explains. “I don’t mean to make any excuses. That being said, I do get depressed from time to time as I want users to enjoy the game as much as possible. But at the same time, this is what I wanted to create.”

I think all Noby Noby Boy needs to do in order to make me personally enjoy it more is to provide some interaction. Of course, that interaction would include a huge amount of toucan riding. I still feel cheated that NPCs can ride toucans, and all Noby can do is eat his arsehole, time and time again.
